These Back-to-School Personality Portraits are designed to capture your child exactly as they are in this season of life—before they grow another inch, lose another tooth, or begin another school year.

Using a clean, timeless backdrop and a relaxed approach, we'll create portraits that focus entirely on your child's personality and genuine expressions.

One day you'll look back and miss the gap-toothed grin, the silly laugh, and the way they scrunch their nose when they smile. These portraits preserve the little details that change far too quickly.

Session Fee: $195

A $50 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your session time.

Your session includes:

• 10 high-resolution digital images

• Private online gallery

• Personal print release

Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

What to Wear

Simple is always best.

Because these portraits focus on your child's face, expressions, and personality, clothing should complement—not distract from—the image.

We recommend:

• Solid colors - whites, tans, beige

• Neutral tones

• Simple textures

• Classic styles

Please avoid:

• Large logos

• Character clothing

• Busy patterns

• Neon colors

• Clothing with distracting text

For the most timeless look, choose outfits that feel comfortable and allow your child to be themselves.

What to Bring

The best portraits happen when children feel relaxed and happy.

Consider bringing:

• A favorite small snack for after the session

• Water

• A hairbrush or comb for quick touch-ups

• You can also bring a favorite toy or stuffed animal to capture the season your child is in now.

Arriving on Time

Please plan to arrive a few minutes early.

These sessions are scheduled back-to-back throughout the day, and late arrivals reduce the amount of shooting time available for your child.

If you arrive late, your session will still end at its scheduled time to remain fair to all families.

Session Retainer & Cancellation Policy

A $50 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your reservation.

The retainer reserves your specific session time and is therefore non-refundable if you choose to cancel or do not attend your session.

If an emergency arises, please contact me as soon as possible. Rescheduling requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis and cannot be guaranteed.

These portraits work beautifully for children of all ages—from preschoolers through high school students.

Can siblings participate?

Absolutely! We can squeeze in sibling photos in as well! If you have three or more children, I suggest reserving an additional time slot.

How long are the sessions?

Sessions are intentionally short and designed to keep children engaged while capturing a variety of genuine expressions.

When will I receive my gallery?

Your edited gallery will be delivered within 2-3 weeks.

What if my child is shy?

That's completely okay.

Some of the sweetest images come from children who need a few moments to warm up. My goal is never forced smiles—it's capturing authentic personality.
